Last week, just before winning my 5th Australian Title, I signed a deal with the biggest windsurfing board manufacturer on the planet, Starboard, to ride on their International ‘Dream Team’ in 2011 (which you can read all about here). To get the news out, I needed to get some cool photos of me with my new boards together quickly. So I called my good friend and favourite photographer, Jacob Lambert, to fire off some stills. We got together late one night in the run down back streets of New Farm in my town of Brisbane, and shot this great urban shoot amongst the streetlights and dark alleys. Enjoy some of the photos…
Man, awesome photos. Where is this exactly?
Agreed. Awesome photos.
@ JD – it’s through a few alleys behind James Street; the fence you are looking through is to the old Woolshed which are now converted to apartments. Great setting.
Shot a rad to the max video there as well, with lot’s of UFO’s and other stuff from the airport flying through the sky. It’s still on the editing pile though… one day.
Awesome. Totally didn’t recognise it. I’ve moved to Tenerife now… just down from there. Good luck with the tour this year.
Killing it.
